The Pension Svoboda's restaurant is open every day for breakfast. Dinner is served on request. Pec pod Sněžkou offers wide options of active leisure throughout the year. It takes pride in having great ski runs both for beginners and for advanced skiers.

Pec pod Sněžkou is one of the most frequented all-season mountain resorts in the Czech Republic. It lies in the valley of the Úpa river and the brooks Zelený potok and Luční potok, amid the peaks Černá hora (Black Mountain - 1 299 metres), Jelení vrch (Stag Peak - 1 024 metres), Liščí hora (Fox Mountain - 1 363 metres), Studniční hora (1 553 metres) and Sněžka. Sněžka (Snow Mountain), on the border with Poland, is (1602 metres) is the highest peak in the Czech Republic.
